Ripsaw is a Top Spin ride at Alton Towers theme park in Staffordshire, England. It was opened in 1997. The ride was manufactured by Huss Rides, a German company who had previously installed a similar ride at Chessington World of Adventures (''Rameses Revenge'') in 1995. The ride is a 'Top Spin' in which riders sit in a 20 seat wide, two tier gondola rotated by a pair of enormous arms and allowed to freely pivot. Riders are also suspended above jets of water at one point and are lowered towards it.
